Adult Day Centers are struggling today as they face the effects of this pandemic. Quite a few have closed permanently, several are still not open, and some are unaccounted for. Adult Day offers more than home care and is still the most cost-effective service to care for PA consumers in need of supervision by providing professional oversight from an RN, meds and treatments, personal care, meals and activities. Participants are delighted to be able to return to Centers for some socialization and intellectual stimulation besides the direct care that they need, so we remain hopeful that things will improve! This webinar will provide education and ideas for you to support your participants to ensure their choice is reimbursed.

Key Takeaways:

  • How to support applying for Waiver, Options, Veteran’s funding, and details about these funding sources as far as eligibility.
  • Other, less familiar forms of payment for services, such as LTC Insurance and Estate Planning.
  • All the latest updates in Medicaid and VA eligibility funding.
  • Why it is important for payers to understand how Adult Day and Homecare can work collaboratively to provide support and services.
  • 2022 Medicaid, Medicare, and VA benefit updates.
  • The future trends of Home and Community Based Services.
