📣 Member Exclusive Update: Montgomery County Rate Increase Secured

Dear PADSA Member,

We’re pleased to share that PADSA has successfully negotiated a daily rate increase for adult day services funded by Montgomery County, effective July 1, 2025.

🔹 New Daily Rate:

The new daily rate is $69.00, up from the previous $68.00—a small but meaningful increase that reflects our continued advocacy for fair and sustainable funding for our industry.

🔹 What This Means for You:

• The updated rate of $69.00 per day applies to all eligible adult day participants funded by Montgomery County Office of Senior Services starting July 1, 2025.
• Providers should adjust billing systems accordingly for services provided from that date forward.
• While the increase is modest, it represents forward movement in ensuring adult day services are recognized and supported at the county level.

🔹 PADSA’s Role in Securing the Increase:

This change was the result of PADSA’s ongoing dialogue with Montgomery County leadership, presenting data and rationale on rising service costs, staffing needs, and the value of community-based care.

We continue to advocate for broader rate improvements across counties and at the state level and are grateful for the member support that makes this work possible.

• PADSA is monitoring implementation and will notify members if any additional guidance is provided by the County.
